Editorial Advisory Board

The original editorial advisory board was (in alphabetical order) the late Jerome Clinton (Princeton University), Ahmet Evin (University of Pennsylvania), Massud Farzan (Pahlavi University), Talat S. Halman (Princeton University), Michael Hillmann (U. of Texas at Austin), James Monroe (U. of California, Berkeley), Stanley Nash (U. of Pennsylvania) and Michael Zwettler (Ohio State University). The journal was at that time published by the University of Pennsylvania's Middle East Center.

EdebiyĆ¢t became affiliated with Taylor and Francis in 1993, under the co-editorship of Julie Meisami (Oxford) and Michael Beard (University of North Dakota); in 2004 it merged with the journal Middle Eastern Literatures.
